I was asked by a corporate client recently to create profile boards for 20 Scottish women as part of their International Women’s Day exhibition. They wanted to celebrate some ‘Local Lassies’ so we created 10 profiles with famous Scots and 10 profiles with women who work within their company.

It was an absolute joy to create these pieces of work, learn about and celebrate these fantastic women and their many achievements. Each board I created had some wee illustrations to go alongside their bio as well as a map with their birthplace on and thistles bordering their name banners to keep with the Scottish theme.

I loved getting to hear about all these different women’s achievements and getting to create something that told their story, these profiles were printed onto A0 boards and displayed around the work campus.
